This morning I woke up and threw my hair up into a messy bun and walked out into the living room where the boys were playing. Andrew looks up at me and the first thing out of his mouth was: "I don't like your hair." Gee thanks
He also told Rob the other day: "I don't like this rental house" Rob asked him why not.
Andrew replied: " because there are not any bunk beds."
At their rental house in Florida where they stayed for a month Andrew had bunk beds. Once we move to Idaho into the new house Andrew has been told that he will get bunk beds in his new room. Needless to say, he is over this rental and is ready to move onto his new house.

Splish splash I was taking a bath
James loves bath time and loves to splash! Andrew on the other hand doesn't like the splashing especially water on his face - he wears a visor in the bath for when we pour water over his head when shampooing so it doesn't get in his eyes. Last night however, I found both boys going to town and splashing away, nothing but laughs and giggles!
Walk a mile in my shoes
Easter Eggs and Hair cuts
While Papa Al and Grandma Roberta were here we got some Easter eggs to dye with the boys. These were not just any ordinary Easter eggs they we got a "Car's" Easter dying kit complete with stickers and sleeves. James wasn't too interested but Andrew sure enjoyed it!
What do I do?
Both boys needed haircuts so we took them to Fantastic Sams for a new do. The boys did such a good job sitting still.
We gave James a sucker during his haircut so it would preoccupy him - it worked!
Get a look at the drool/ sucker slobber running down the front of James smock! He was loving that sucker!

Park Day
There are some great parks in the Goldsboro and today we ventured out to investigate. We (the boys, Rob, Papa Al and Roberta) went to Herman park - this place was HUGE! They have 5 separate playgrounds through out the park, along with a fountain with big coy fish, tennis courts, and even a train that kids can ride around the park (train was not up and running today - maybe next time). I think it was a bit overwhelming at first for the boys....so many toys, so little time. We made it to two of the five playgrounds, we'll have to hit up the rest on another day.
Roberta cooked a whole chicken tonight for dinner along with red potatoes, zucchini and salad - MMM! It's nice to have someone else cook, knowing that in about a week it's all up to me! For dessert we had Tiramisu - Rob's favorite - he insisted we get an entire cake when we were at the grocery store the other day.

Andrews personality ....
James's personality... he is a dare devil loves to go head first down the slide, he isn't afraid of anything
Home Sweet Home
Andrew was very excited about moving into his new rental house - he was sooo done being in that car! We moved into our new apartments today and we were pleasantly and happily surprised at how nice and spacious they are! Rob opted to have them fully furnished and what a great plan that was!! All the furniture is brand new as are all of the dishes and kitchen ware. Bathrooms were supplied with towels and even a few mini toiletries. We all have our own rooms...even James...he is sleeping in Daddy's walk-in closet;) It's perfect for him nice and dark and quiet...just the way he likes it:) Rob and I spent two hours at the commissary on base stocking up on groceries for the next two months - got to love cheap groceries!
The apartment complex has some great amenities. They boys and I have already tested out the playground and they went with their Papa Al and Grandma Roberta to check out the pool area. It's too cold to swim in right now, so they put their hands in and gave their heads a quick dunk. they thought that was pretty funny! We also have a couple bbq area's, nice big work out facility and even a private movie theater. They have an entire library of DVD's in the front office that you can borrow to watch at home or in the movie theater. I know Andrew will be excited to have movie night in the theater!
Goldboro is a great little town, has everything you could need in close proximity. We have a brand new shopping center across the street from the apartments complete with a TJ Maxx, Ross, Old Navy and Bed Bath and Beyond. Next to that is a nice big Target - I think I'll be frequenting those places a lot;)
we plastic wrapped the coffee table because the boys were racing their cars on it and it was starting to scratch

Road trip - Day two
Today we met up with Rob's friends The Calvin's whom live in the Atlanta area. They have two boys: Judah and Bryce. We met them at the Children's Museum in Atlanta called Imagine it! We let the boys run around and play for a few hours to get all their energy out in hopes they would crash out in the car...that theory didn't work as well as we hoped. After a long day of driving, and some very tired and restless boys we finally made it to Goldsboro, NC We stayed on base for the night before moving into our new place.
James loves to brush his teeth and hair
