Home Sweet Home

Andrew was very excited about moving into his new rental house - he was sooo done being in that car! We moved into our new apartments today and we were pleasantly and happily surprised at how nice and spacious they are! Rob opted to have them fully furnished and what a great plan that was!! All the furniture is brand new as are all of the dishes and kitchen ware. Bathrooms were supplied with towels and even a few mini toiletries. We all have our own rooms...even James...he is sleeping in Daddy's walk-in closet;) It's perfect for him nice and dark and quiet...just the way he likes it:) Rob and I spent two hours at the commissary on base stocking up on groceries for the next two months - got to love cheap groceries!

The apartment complex has some great amenities. They boys and I have already tested out the playground and they went with their Papa Al and Grandma Roberta to check out the pool area. It's too cold to swim in right now, so they put their hands in and gave their heads a quick dunk. they thought that was pretty funny! We also have a couple bbq area's, nice big work out facility and even a private movie theater. They have an entire library of DVD's in the front office that you can borrow to watch at home or in the movie theater. I know Andrew will be excited to have movie night in the theater!

Goldboro is a great little town, has everything you could need in close proximity. We have a brand new shopping center across the street from the apartments complete with a TJ Maxx, Ross, Old Navy and Bed Bath and Beyond. Next to that is a nice big Target - I think I'll be frequenting those places a lot;)

Kitchen - those white counter tops are going to be the death of me - you can see every speck of dirt!
